Donations can be made as a tribute to someone special, or in memory of a loved one. You can ask your friends and relatives to honor your child, or someone else in this way. This can potentially have a much greater impact on a donors' tax liability than a cash donation. Contact CCCD or your tax advisor for information about this method of contribution.   Donate a vehicle Donate your car, boat, truck, RV, Jet Ski or snowmobile to the Connecticut Center for Child Development and receive a tax deduction. This no cost, no hassle, process begins when you contact our fundraising partner, Donation Line, LLC at (877) 227-7487 extension 1847. You can also go directly to http://www.donationline.com/ and scroll down to the online car donation form. Make sure to select Connecticut Center for Child Development from the drop down list. You will need the title of the vehicle at the time of donation.   CCCD is interested in building relationships with individuals, foundations, and corporations. Some merchants give a flat fee & several run promotions where they give additional percentages back to the school. It adds up quickly! All you need to do is shop online. In this program, when you send us $50 we send you a gift certificate for $50. You can then purchase any food or other items sold at any Stop & Shop grocery store - and still get your change.
