Intensive Behavior Treatment Services

David E. Kuhn, Ph.D., BCBA-D

The Intensive Behavior Treatment Services (IBTS) program at CCCD was created based on the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families and other caregivers.

Individuals diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or other developmental disabilities are at increased risk for displaying problem behaviors that interfere with social, independent and academic functioning.

Further, these individuals may lack the appropriate adaptive skills necessary to function as independently as possible in the least restrictive environment.

Therefore, IBTS Program was created to meet the continuum of needs of these individuals, by offering a variety of services at varying levels of intensity.

These services include:
School/Home/Clinic-Based Consultation
Intensive Treatment of Adaptive Skills
Intensive Treatment of Problem/Dangerous Behaviors
